ERG tap collets, also known as tapping collets, are flexible clamps used for tapping, securing taps (screw taps) to the collet.

They are primarily used for rigid tapping on CNC lathes to precisely produce internal threads and compensate for pitch errors caused by torsional stress in the tap, ensuring high-quality machining.

Specifications include ER-16, ER-20, ER-25, ER-32, and ER-40. Shank and square diameters must be confirmed according to JIS and ISO standards.

Runout accuracy is 0.008 in AA grade.
